Dr Shiri Lejay

Dr Shiri Lejay is a Consultant Paediatrician at Central Health London and Demelza Children’s Hospice, with 18 years’ experience in the NHS. She also contributes to the work of the GMC.

Dr Lejay provides expert care across all aspects of general paediatrics, with a special interest in supporting families during the first weeks and months of life, including feeding, growth, sleep, development, and parental wellbeing. She has over three years’ experience in Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders, offering assessment and ongoing support for young people with complex nutritional or psychological needs.

She is the founder of Your Family Paediatrician, an educational platform sharing evidence-based guidance for parents. For more than four years, she has taught families about newborn care, common childhood conditions, and infant first aid, and regularly trains healthcare professionals in child health, communication, and wellbeing.

Known for her warm, patient and collaborative approach, Dr Lejay is highly regarded for the time she takes to listen, explain clearly, and provide practical guidance. Families value her reliability, responsiveness, and ability to empower parents while helping children thrive.
