Dr Brianna Cloke

Dr Cloke is a Consultant Gynaecologist whose career reflects a commitment to patient-centred care, medical education, and academic excellence. She studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge before completing her medical degree at St Bartholomew's Medical School, London, and undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at leading London hospitals, including The Royal London, Queen Charlotte's, and Guy's and St Thomas'.

She has broad clinical expertise across general, emergency, and specialist gynaecology. Her specialist interests include menopause and perimenopause (including premature ovarian insufficiency), recurrent miscarriage, gynaecological endocrinology — encompassing conditions such as PCOS, amenorrhoea, PMS and PMDD — and early pregnancy complications. She is also Lead for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at Guy's and St Thomas', working closely with Evelina London Children's Hospital.

Dr Cloke is experienced in the full range of gynaecological investigation and treatment. She performs pelvic ultrasound scanning (both transvaginal and transabdominal), outpatient hysteroscopic procedures including polypectomy and fibroid resection, and laparoscopic surgery for conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and adhesions. She also undertakes major open procedures including myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and hysterectomy, as well as vulval and vaginal surgery, manual vacuum aspiration, and surgical management of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

Dr Cloke holds a strong academic background, having been awarded a Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship and completing her PhD at Imperial College London in 2009. Her research in women's reproductive health has received international recognition. She is Lead for the Undergraduate Human Development block at King's College London Medical School, and regularly lectures, supervises, and examines undergraduate and postgraduate doctors. She has received multiple awards for teaching and research, and is known for her calm, compassionate, and thorough approach to personalised, evidence-based care.
